This item is great. it comes with additional side pieces which make it adjustable for any size opening. There is no permanent mounting equipment, but the adjustable mounts are really easy to use and is actually pretty strong. My husband and I hit the gate rather difficult at times when we're not looking for where we're going and which did not fall. the media are also good for different situations, because each width can be adjusted in and out if necessary (for example: the baseboard against the wall.) The door is super easy to open, even with one finger .... I had to do it when you are carrying in groceries. the height would be good for large dogs, and is perfect for my jumpers.
