phil&teds Lobster Highchair, Black, Compact, sturdy with some flaws in my opinion

A week ago. I search for information on the phil&teds Lobster Highchair, Black, so i would like to describe here.

I agree with other reviewers re: limitations on use of phil & ted highchair lobster since it is a Terminal design and will not work with lips tables or tables that are too thin (like those found at Chinese banquet rooms where a large teak table in their small table to create a larger table). I suppose this is for security reasons, but still, restricts the use of the Chair. I really like the fact that it folds up so compact and comes with its own carrying bag. In addition, the tray is an added bonus, although like other reviewers have mentioned, not clipped to the Chair so it's fairly easy to remove from the kid, which defeats the purpose IMHO. I will focus on some things that it seems that no one else has mentioned: 1) the venue is quite deep. I think this is good because it means that it has room to grow with your child, but we use our 11-month-old, who is the 75 percentile in height and very low sitting on Chair. the first few times we used, he didn't like it at all because there seemed to be sunk in the Chair. Since we put a thick blanket at the bottom of the seat for him, and maximize that helped. 2) there is hardly any space between the child and the table, which again, may be for security reasons, but makes the chest of the baby's head against the edge of the table, which doesn't look particularly comfortable for me. Fortunately, we have a fairly lean, so he fits well in the Chair, but I guess if you had a baby meat, this could be a bigger problem for you. 3) as the other reviewer said, I wish the bag was zipped. However, to add to that, I also hope the bag was only slightly larger, so that would not be such a snug/tight when trying to put the Chair back in it. may not be a bit of a struggle. Read more ›
